The 1N5283-1 thru 1N5314-1 and 1N7041-1 thru 1N7055-1 series are 0.5 watt current regulator diodes offering a selection from 0.22 mA to 10 mA with standard 10% tolerances. These devices are designed to regulate current over a broad voltage range, acting as a counterpart to Zener diodes which regulate voltage over a broad current range. The DO-7 package provides a double-plug internal bond connection and a larger active die element for reliable current limiting. They are suitable for applications requiring stable current regulation across varying voltage and temperature conditions, are nonsensitive to ESD, and feature flexible axial-lead mounting terminals.
